it’s actually pretty cool science wise, THC interacts with your brain's reward and pleasure centers which increases blood flow, heightens your senses, and increase dopamine and serotonin reuptake which in turn can result in more production of oxytocin (sex hormone), that’s why we get so turned on/horny when we are high
