focus on getting it rolled well around the filter. the rest falls in place if you just pull the top of the paper tight while you roll (pull left edge left repeatedly if filter is on right). i personally only put about half the bud near the filter to roll. i use that to pull it tight, get the shape right, and stick it. then i fill the rest and pack it down.

I tend to roll the weed in the paper to give it the shape then after I close it shake tap the bottom on a table and shake from the top to ´compress’ it

then to get it looking real nice, make sure you pinch and twist the top right. pinch as close to the bud as you can, twist 90° and pinch again. repeat until it feels like you’ve packed down the top of your bud a bit. then i like to press the tip into the joint and make a crease to flatten the tip of the joint. that part is optional i like the look either way. but it makes it easy to burn around the crease and pop the tip off. then you got a nice flat bit of exposed bud to start a clean burn.
