Yeah, they have a year shelf life then it starts degrading but I’ve smoke 2 year old carts fine

The oil is probably a little less potent than it was first bought but that’s prob the worst of it unless the oil crystallized or stuff from the vape itself leeched into it. Try giving it a quick puff without inhaling to see if it tastes off. If it looks and tastes fine it’s probably safe.
