It’s more than carts but less than bud. It won’t stick to surfaces as much, it CAN if you do it 24/7 in a room for a while but it will never be as strong as bud. If you’re asking if you do it in a room and someone walks by, yes they will probably smell it if it has been like less than 15-20 minutes. but it will not remain there for nearly as long as bud would

There's a big range on dab smell and it depends on the concentrate, temperature, draw qualities, and dabbing device/format. Dab vapor fades slower and smells more than carts, but less than smoke. Using dry herb vapor as an example, it fades faster than dabs or smoke, has a smell stronger than dabs but weaker than smoke, and smells/tastes the closest to flower during extraction than dabs or smoke. Carts are just a very constrained form of wax use that becomes increasingly altered by heating.
