I'd still get an exhaust fan and intake filter. 'smoke buddy's aren't perfect and get worse over time ime. Also, cats can get allergies to dust and pollen, so another reason to keep the floor and air clean.

yes i also usually have the window open if it’s not blazing hot and a fan always on as well as an air purifier! i replace the filter often and buy a new smoke buddy every couple weeks as well
