I have experienced racism more than once actually all over the world. And like I said, it depends on where you go in America. I live in the north, and a funny story actually is me and my friend both applied to the same medical school. He is a black man with a 2.8 GPA and very little practical experience. I am a white man with a 3.95 GPA and lots of practical experience. He got accepted that year and I didn’t. Even he admitted it was complete bullshit.

I believe you when you say you have experienced racism. I’m not diminishing that. My point was it depends where you live, and racism exists EVERYWHERE. You live in America so of course you’ve experienced more in America.

I was born in a very poor black part of my city, I was bullied and made fun of all throughout my childhood for being white. I do not have an ā€œobsession with being a victimā€. I have moved on from my anger at how I was treated and matured enough to realize that not everyone is like that, and that there are bad people in every race and to get mad at the world around me is something idiots do

you do because when I brought up racism in America, you immediately made it about yourself and your whiteness. You will never experience racism! no matter you’re starting point you are still a white man in America and that is more than enough.

racism can exist anywhere but we are talking about America, you continue to steer off the focus, which is America. We’re not comparing other countries and what other countries are doing we are talking about what is happening in America.

You are the one that brought up other countries first though, like what are we doing? And stop trying to change the definition of racism to fit your narrative. Racism is racism. And I didn’t immediately ā€œmake it about myself and my whitenessā€ you brought up a personal anecdote so I also brought one up.

And the context of me getting jumped is basically they thought I had money because I was white, their words exactly. The whole time I was getting beat they were calling me slurs like cracker. And I could say the same to you. Your desire to feel victimized by everything around you is kind of crazy. We have both experienced racism. The only difference is you are trying to diminish my experience.

I don’t bitch and moan about my childhood, I started from the lowest point I could and am making something of myself. I’m studying to be a doctor right now. I don’t whine about how some of my peers were accepted purely for DEI reasons even if it grates me slightly. Life ain’t fair, and trying to view it from a lens of fairness is a waste of time. I have never seen systemic racism in the north. I can’t say anything about the south because I don’t live there, but the north is progressive

The fact that you don’t know that other races had slaves in America proves that you aren’t well educated in history. White people were the first ones to abolish slavery. Yet you say you feel more comfortable with immigrates and not white people, so therefore you only see immigrants as black or brown people.

I grew up around people who idolized murderers and drug dealers. I saw a mother of 4 spend her entire pay check on a new purse instead of feeding her children. A lot of modern rappers have made kids idolize drug dealing and gang violence. And of course no one wants to be uneducated and broke, but there is almost a superiority complex in these areas, at least there was where I grew up. People feel the need to flex nonexistent wealth to satisfy their ego that they somehow developed into a complex. A lot of them are obsessed with being viewed as hard and will do anything to make people see them that way

Of course no one wants to hire a violent teen or let them into their school. But from everything I’ve seen in life, if you make yourself appear proper and speak fluently and not like an uneducated kid, you will have plenty of opportunity’s in life no matter your skin color.
