People who say weed isn’t addictive are full of shit. I went from 1 edible a day every 2 weeks to smoking all day into the late night twice a week in just a year; weed is absolutely addictive and needs to be approached with caution and moderation
I don’t think people say it’s straight up not addictive but rather less addictive compared to other substances

I needed to see this. I haven’t smoked since december but now that it’s summer i’ve been wanting to so bad but have hesitated cause I hate the brain fog and I get lazy. I also end up going from having a pen last me 2 weeks to it lasting 3 days max. It is def addictive.

I recently had an intervention about it with a pal and they helped me realize that I’m developing a problem, so now I’m taking steps to reduce my consumption and not let it take over my life

Its not traditionally addictive as the endocannabinoid system is BUILT to recieve it, that being said, you can gain an addictive relationship with it if you do not moderate yourself

It’s good that you took a T-Break; if you do ever come back to it, take it one small, slow baby step at a time; dip your toes in the pool before diving into the deep end.

Your body is much less likely to go through withdrawls because thc is fat soluble, so its release from your body is slowed, unlike water soluble substances.

twice a week is not bad there was no need for an intervention lmao. but do what’s best for you of course. many people are addicted and in denial but it’s very easy to smoke weed in moderation and not get addicted.

Maybe not, but it was big step up from where I was before. I’ve just been lessening the moderation up til now & I needed to get it back on track

the convenience of the pen where you don’t have to set aside a specific time makes it so easy for it to bleed into your life all day. taking a hit literally costs a couple seconds with no prep beforehand and no fire or smell to deal with.
