-made it to the moon -the airplane -the internet -polio/mrna vaccines -gps -60 superbowl wins
The sad thing about American accomplishments is that most of them are -heavily exaggerated and mainly way less cool than you think -only possible because of a minority group that never will be recognized. -just straight up wrong/never happened.

The moon landing came after several accomplishments from the soviets but since it was the only one we could do we call it the best. Not to mention it relied on hundreds of black and Hispanic men and women who are never talked about. The wright brothers were only able to fly because they copied blueprints from Germany and France. Several people have documented claims of first flight that came before the wright brothers The internet was a combo effort with Britain I’ll give you the polio one

When did the soviets walk the moon?

They didn’t, but they were the first in space, had the first satellite, and were the first to send someone to space and have them come back. And don’t even get me started on how many members of nasa were former Nazis

So you could almost say they didn’t make it to the moon, because they’ve never walked on it. They also never will

They sent several landing craft to the moon and are technically the first to reach the moon…

But they didn’t walk the moon, that’s what the race was about. The soviets just couldn’t pull that off

Ya know you’re kinda proving my point that the US will over exaggerate its accomplishments when in reality it’s a country of fraud

We did actually have some incredible accomplishments if we ignore the bogus space race junk, we took the first orbital photograph of the earth! That to me is pretty cool… still weren’t the first in space though.

AHAHAHAHAH wait I just realized “man on the moon” (the legitimate most impressive feat) is at the bottom

Nobody is saying we were the first in space

I’d personally say the first space walk was the most impressive considering the tech for that is fairly complex but I will agree the moon landing is up there. I feel you’re missing my point still.

The first person to ever demonstrate a successful polio vaccine was Polish, and the person responsible for the oral polio vaccine was also Polish

Then how can we say we won the space race?

Was he a polish immigrant or purely polish? I may be talking shit about patriotism but I won’t besmirch the accomplishments of the immigrants who built this country.

I’d say that’s an American feat then. Good for the polish but if you ask me an accomplishment don’t on us soil is one to take credit for no matter who you are. Sadly the us only will talk about the stuff Anglo white men did.

Im not even saying the Soviets aren’t impressive, but you have to admit that walking on the moon IS the coolest feat

Both immigrants. One immigrated when he was young and one immigrated after graduating from the University of Warsaw Medical School. I don’t want to diminish their accomplishments either but I don’t want people to believe immigrants and other countries aren’t important to what America has achieved

It is cool, I am not sayin it ain’t cool, a global achievement if anything! Just trying to make sure you realize that the only way it was possible is because of Nazis and minorities. And guess who got the credit.
