Yeah they do a lot of work to be pro Israel and also genuinely antisemitic

So for Germany it’s kind of a result of how thoroughly they have attempted to counteract their Nazi history. They’re fucking terrified of being called antisemitic by Israel.

Germany is so traumatized by their own history they’ll blindly support Israel as redemption while blind to the fact that they’re supporting another genocide in the process. If they stop supporting Israel zios can just call them Nazis again

For the U.S. it’s more complicated. Weirdly enough the evangelical fundamentalist Protestantism that drives the KKK’s antisemitism I’d also driving American support for Israel. The evangelicals think Israel needs to exist for the apocalypse to happen. And oftentimes their Islamophobia outweighs their antisemitism.
