Hey is America culturally different from other countries? Yes? So there’s an “American culture” even if it’s broad and vague but more distinct for certain regions or people groups.

Ah yes. The blandness of Texas bbq. Of Mississippi soul food. Of Appalachian bluegrass. Of rock and roll. We made Saint Patrick’s day parades and pride parades and Fourth of July fireworks. I’m going to a powwow next weekend. That’s not “bland” to me. Our country is a famous cultural exporter. You only see it as bland because it’s where you are from.

Literally every culture comes from other cultures that’s how linear time and a lack of human spontaneous generation works. The French just speak weird Latin, which comes from Romans who got their cultural touchstones from the Etruscans and Greeks, who got their alphabet from the Phonecians (who got it from the Egyptians) and their agriculture from Mesopotamia (and some gods like Aphrodite).
