israel didn’t exist before 1948 tho , and you say most map placeable which is interesting as they took over palestine and made it their own territory unless most map placeable means some else

I’m talking about how the Levant as a whole but the lands contained within modern Israel and Palestine in particular are extremely influential in the history of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim religion. Places like Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jericho, the Jordan River, and the Dead Sea were all very well known prior to the founding of the modern state of Israel.
