You know what this is? Someone shooting a gun when they were not in danger of being hit by a car. He stepped out of the way, while she was also turning the other way, and THEN he shot. If you can’t see that, your government owns your eyes & ears.

For reference, the killer is behind the guy in black. He is not in front of the car at all, and he did not make contact with the car.

Little better photo where you can see the cloud from the first shot and the shooters legs. It was close to be fair, but like you said not close enough to warrant deadly force

No yeah I wholeheartedly agree. An actual trained LEO wouldn’t have shot there. And claims that she was trying to hit him or run him over are completely wrong. But I do think it comes down to never being in a high stakes situation and choosing the wrong method to “fix” the situation. Like I can totally see it as he thought his life was in danger and reacted emotionally, deciding to shoot when he reached for the gun rather then deciding to shoot when it was aimed at her

I’m just trying to demonstrate why it’s reasonable for an untrained person to react as rashly as he did. Does it justify what happened? Fuck no. He’s a “law” enforcement officer, and they need to be held to higher standards than the average person
