Limited government? Isn’t this the excuse the slavers used in 1861 to justify why they had the right to secede? Republicans from their very founding have been the party of federal supremacy. At the end of the day, federal law is the law of the land. You change it through constitutional process not violently assaulting federal officers Democrats have always been the party of disobeying the federal government to keep their cheap labor
