bigot was just one example i used. there’s also “ignorant” which can apply to taxes or “whatever else” which applies to…well…whatever else so im not not talking about anything specific just saying a difference of opinion isn’t enough to qualify someone as being a bigot or whatever not that bigots don’t exist

Big difference between calling someone ignorant in the context of taxes and calling someone a bigot. If you’re saying just having a difference of opinion isn’t enough to qualify calling someone a bigot that’s fair and for what it’s worth the vast vast vast majority of people agree. But most of the time people are being called a bigot it’s because they’re sharing an opinion on marginalized communities that are pretty fucking bigoted.

i was just speaking generally, that’s why i used more than just one descriptive term (word count meant i had to cut down and generalise more) i’m certainly not saying that bigots don’t exist all i’m saying is that having a difference of opinion isn’t enough to immediately qualify you as one

not that i think it’s relevant, seeing as i was only speaking generally but id had a conversation in which people were sharing their opinion on the kirk assassination during which i disagreed and got called a variety of different things solely for having a different opinion
