yes to term lengths (10 years, limit two terms and then emeritus) no to elections it’s too specialized a position. I wouldn’t want to elect doctors either that said I do think we should be able to recall justices and politicians via referendum

These are all too short. 20 years to make it so federal rulings aren’t being changed consistently

This is fine. I hate the idea of people being in the government until they die… but unfortunately, that seems to be the trend. Like please just retire at some point, move on, and enjoy your life
