You realize that uselessness is literally intended to start that war with Europe and fire up the gestapo, right? Why do you think that funding and training ice agents is going to be a fundamental dnc platform issue for 2028… they’re preparing the base for “ice agents just aren’t trained and need to be held to the same standard” So no, the complicit apologists in the DNC are not much better, as they’ll just justify our overall shift into deeper fascism regardless.

This is why people need to stop garnering all their moral and ethical viewpoints from fucking political parties and religious beliefs, and instead actually think about the shit they support as well as its impacts. The DNC being just as willing as republicans to throw entire demographics under the bus should be worrisome, even if it’s “not as bad” as the republicans…like engaging in that behavior in general is still pretty fucking bad

“Is going to be” = Future tense, not past. Research sen schumer’s stance on whether ICE requires more training, as well as sen booker’s. Funding I may have been mistaken about, but increasing training for ICE is no better.

Also, prior to the current political climate, increasing funding for DHS and ICE specifically commonly had bipartisan support.

Ahhh I must’ve mistaken booker’s stance with schumer’s - that’s my mistake!! (the hiring standards, I wholeheartedly agree. Should be needless to say but neonazis and white supremacists shouldn’t be employed by the federal government, but I digress)
