I like how Paxton is already failing on campaign promises by running away from a debate (which he promised to do earlier in the campaign)

Amy Acton would gain absolutely nothing by debating Vivek. The billionaire conman has dumped millions of his own money (Elon $$ too) into his campaign of horrific lies and would just pull the usual for Repubs which would be to talk about illegals, trans, and everything the democrats have done wrong in Ohio (Rs have had majority for 30 years). She’s out in person campaigning. He’s flying around on his private jet.

Then get up on the debate stage and say just that. IMO there is no possible way that refusing to debate looks good for any politician

Ken Paxton won’t debate Talarico, Roger’s won’t debate El-Sayed, Tuberville won’t debate Jones (saying there was no reason to get onstage to argue over their differences), Annie Andrews has reportedly requested four debates with Darline Graham. Apparently, not debating your opponent anymore does not represent weakness for one party. Why should Democrats waste their time? They are constantly talking about policy & R are flinging culture war 💩

Just an opinion dude. If they’re not willing to debate on the campaign trail, then they’re sure as hell not gonna be willing to debate in DC
