Yep that’s exactly what I’m taking about, and to be honest, the real figure is probably closer to 10+ civilians per combatant bc the amount of deaths is grossly underreported

I’m assessing based on historical context and civilian casualty rate rather than total deaths. Both states have displaced and murdered millions upon millions of people, so its less a question of what and more of a “how and why”

Also, you’re framing your own question wrong, as both states were committing atrocities long before 1939 and 2023 respectively (better start dates for atrocities are like 1933 and 1948
