Great, lock her up, with trump, Bill Clinton and Elon. I don’t worship candidates like fantasy football teams, they don’t bat for what I voted for or if they did something grotesque I want them punished.

Don’t have the file number but I’m sure it’s public. I read it in the New York post. https://nypost.com/2026/01/30/us-news/zohran-mamdanis-mom-mira-nair-mentioned-in-epstein-files-email-about-film-she-directed-doj/ It looks like this was around 2008 (soon after he plead guilty for diddling) It was a Ghislaine Maxwell party thrown in her honor

Found the file number for ya! (EFTA02438537.pdf). I… don’t think your description is accurate. The email is from publicist Peggy Siegal. First line of the email describes an “after party for film.” Ghislaine was hosting. Mira released a film named “Amelia” in october of 2009, which is what the party is for.

To be clear here, you condemn Trump and don’t support him knowing he’s in the files, right?

Agreed with that one (and I’m a Republican and I’ve been ready to condemn it with Trump)

I did just read your NYP article, though, and I do want to take the time to point out that this article is using INCREDIBLY biased language to IMPLY wrongdoing without proof. “The democratic socialist’s mom” (framing her as a Leftist First, mom second) “attended a SWANKY afterparty” (no details about the party are known) “at Convicted Sex Trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell’s house” (that one’s fair) “that was also attended by Former President Bill Clinton” (proven pedophile by other files).

How is what I said not accurate. They threw a party for her movie and she was there

Every single bit of that sentence is structured to IMPLY that Mira did something illicit at this afterparty - when we LITERALLY DON’T KNOW ANY DETAILS ABOUT IT. Like, yes - something COULD have happened. But it’s also known Ghislaine was a socialite with a LOT of connections. It’s just as likely she offered to host to PEGGY SIEGAL (Mira’s publicist, who handled promotional scheduling FOR her) and Mira just went along with Peggy’s plan.

You’ll hear a lot of leftists/liberals say the New York Post isn’t a reliable source. I think it’s a BIASED source. It takes fact - like the VERY real fact Mira Nair is in the latest Epstein drop - and preys on its readers preconceived biases so that they draw CONCLUSIONS that aren’t actually substantiated by fact. Like, say, “It was a Ghislaine Maxwell party thrown in [Mira’s] honor.”

You got got by confirmation bias, my friend. That was the POINT of the NYP article. Keep that in mind when reading NYP articles in the future. Also - I’ll happily do a bias analysis for left leaning sources. I treat The Daily Beast the exact same way I treat the New York Post isn't

Ok that’s fair. I’m not gonna say I “got got”. I think both sides are biased as fuck. I frankly have like no sympathy for anything the Mamdanis have to say. They’re wild antisemites and the only reason why he stopped being antisemitic was because his publicist told him to chill with the antisemitism

I don’t mean this as a gotcha I’m genuinely trying to understand, but why are you still a Republican then? They clearly aren’t willing to condemn pedophiles, the party as an institution is fighting tooth and nail to protect and enable him.

Because I agree with a substantial amount of financial policies they have in place (more so disagree with a lot of leftist financial policies) I agree with deportation of illegal immigrants and having a secure border. And I primarily agree with their stance on Israel. I think Israel has a right to existence and Hamas needs to be destroyed

And those are important enough that even though they treat anyone who wants a child-raping pedophile to be held accountable like a traitor, you’ll still support them? I mean this truly, if that isn’t your line in the sand then what is? And I’m not saying you should support Democrats either, if you can’t in good conscience then don’t I just don’t see how you are able to get behind the Republican Party even if they do have some good policies.

Both sides are like HUGE diddlers. If it was socially acceptable to be apolitical then I’d be apolitical. But at the same time we need to understand that there are priorities. (I also feel like it should be said that I didn’t vote for Trump or Harris. I wrote in Marco Rubio) I don’t agree with Trump but I think he’s way better for Israel than Harris would’ve been. I think he’s way better for the economy than Harris would’ve been. Just a shame he’s a diddler

Yikes, okay. I’m gonna be real: you’re wrong about a lot of issues of fact related to this. But more importantly, your priorities are so messed up I can’t adequately describe it. No economy justifies protecting pedophiles and treating their enemies like traitors, no amount of security for Israel does either. I don’t say this about every Trump supporter but you in particular are just a terrible person. I hope people in your life don’t trust you until you get better.

And that’s also why I hate the left. Like I didn’t attack you once and now you’re coming at me for no reason. Saying I’m a terrible person? I disagree. I think I’m a good person. I do volunteer work. I help non profits. I give to charity. I do a lot to help my community. What have you done? Comment on someone’s yik yak and that’s it?

I volunteer for a nonprofit that helps families adopt, I donate to famine relief abroad, I’ve worked for legal nonprofits in Africa representing children and human trafficking victims in the Zambian justice system, and I’m attending law school so I can do more. I didn’t come at you “for no reason”. I did it because you materially support a group dedicated to enabling pedophilia, and that is the mark of a bad person. If you don’t see that I don’t know how to help you.

I’m not affiliated with any political party, but if I were I would choose one that held child abusers in their ranks accountable and put them away from the party. Not one that treats that proposition like a betrayal of the nation.
