The problem is not belief, the problem is institutionalized force both driven by and justifying beliefs. And if anything the instance where religious liberties go too far is when they enable and/or justify biased institutional structures. Nationalism being tacked onto christianity is a prime example of that.

Oh yeah they actually just straight up hold that belief absolutely anymore. If only Protestants and Catholics could revise their beliefs…
