Healthcare is beyond dumb. People don’t want free healthcare because they don’t want to pay for other people’s healthcare yet they pay for other people’s healthcare through absurd premiums to private companies

A lot of aspects of America are simply illogical, and yet the drive from endless profit holds it together. Look at healthcare- we spend more than most countries on our healthcare just for it to be the most expensive.

Americans are scared of national healthcare only bc they think what they pay for healthcare is how much it costs. Like no baby girl, you’re paying for a random number some guys in suits made up. That’s now how much it costs. Bandaids are not $200
