You know china recently purged many of their officers, pretty much neutering the leadership

At the moment he doesn’t need to do anything

Idk imo he’s too much on the nothing ever happens boat. When he should be doing smth. Especially when America is fucking with his allies.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s going to probably do something within the next two years, but I think him, and the Communist Party of China as a whole, are waiting for the right moment.

Ig idk im not a fan of the ccp ill be honest. From a geo political stand point the usa is definitely been messing with Chinas oil supply.

They’re likely providing Iran with intel. They don’t need to do much else. If they get oil trading in yuan, the dollar is screwed
4
Anonymous#31w
The dollar won’t be screwed that easily. The issue with yuan becoming the currency of the world is the fact China uses it for its export economy.

Their air defenses also seem to be shit lol

They can rebuild that overtime corruption in China is still a massive issue. Not to mention loyalty questions.

I think they’re trying to get Taiwan diplomatically isolated at least from the USA, which the USA has been doing an amazing job at doing to its allies recently. China’s oil supply isn’t super threatened though

They said the same thing about the Soviet Union. I know the circumstances are a bit different here but it was probably a long term move

I mostly mean the fact it seems the U.S. is strategically moving to cut China off from as much as possible. Venezuela, Iran, friendly countries in control of the oil. Attacking the Russian shadow fleet etc

Anonymous#11w
The dismantling of USAID didn’t really help that though 😭
1
Anonymous#31w
No that did not, I don’t like America either I mostly just enjoy geo political analysis.

Anonymous#11w
The USA attacking Iran has backfired though and done little more than blocking America’s access to Gulf state oil

No denying that it seems like this was mostly a Trump adhd realpolitik moment.
1
Anonymous#11w
Yeah. Pretty much. And now, people passing through the strait of Hormuz are required to pay in Chinese currency
4
Anonymous#11w
Tho it seems like the broad idea this was supposed to do was to cripple Chinese oil access. Will it is another question
1
Anonymous#11w
Doesn’t China still get oil from Russia? Idk if this was ever about oil in the beginning. He probably thought they’d surrender after he killed Khameinei or something. It seems like Israel underestimated the regime’s resilience
5
Anonymous#31w
China gets about 20% of their oil from them and have huge reserves

Anonymous#31w
They get like 10-20% of their oil from there a lot still comes from Iraq and Saudis
