If they did, they would’ve been spreading that video around immediately after the shooting. They’re not smart enough to put a delay the release to avoid suspicion. They’re not even smart enough to properly redact the Epstein file.

#1, I don’t think we were ever supposed to see that. The BBC got a hold of the footage - it was NOT released. We were not supposed to know they already knew who Alex was.

I think you’re overestimating the competence of this administration and underestimating their desire to make this guy look bad. It was released by a small media outlet and then BBC said their facial recognition software was a 97% match to him, whatever that means. This whole situation has made a ton of independents/moderates upset with ICE when they might’ve otherwise been pretty ambivalent about it. If the Trump admin knew about this clip, they would’ve released it right away
