my least woke opinion is that i think vaccines should be mandatory (save for people who genuinely *can't* get them)

If this is your least woke opinion I can’t imagine how bad the rest are💀

don’t let the inbreds bring you down, they should be mandatory (save for a genuine medical contraindication which only applies to a tiny percentage of the population)

New vaccines no. Old ones yes (with proper research)

vaccines and abortions go together. they're either state controlled or you're allowed to do whatever the fuck you want with your own body. i think abortions should be legal and vaccines should be optional. if you want vaccines mandated i hope you're ok with no abortions.

I think this is excessive caution but I’ll take it at this point, I’m so fucking tired of seeing preventable old-timey diseases making a comeback for absolutely no reason

100% agree. All i mean by proper research is like allergies and pretty unique stuff like that. I don’t see an issue with vaccines that have been tried and true, i just have an issue with newer ones that get pushed out immediately after development. I don’t trust the elites to actually have the intention of keeping us healthy

Your mistrust of the wealthy elite class is valid, but something a lot of people don’t know is that the mRNA vaccine was researched and developed for decades, and by the time covid happened, so a TON of the preliminary research steps had been done already. I don’t trust the elites either but (unless there has been recent deregulation I’m not aware of) the clinical trial process is EXTREMELY thorough thanks to government regulations, unlike in other industries

For decades by the time Covid happened*

I didn’t know that actually! So as far as the infamous side effects that came with the Covid shot, did the developers know it would severely harm and/or kill young people? Like was that declared to be a potential risk at all?

What counts as an “old vaccine with proper research” as opposed to a “new one”? For example, the Covid vaccines have received heavy research and evidence shows they are very safe. Would you consider those ones to be okay?

Like chicken pox, measles, the flu, those are the ones that come to mind. Vaccines that have been around for decades. What I’m trying to understand is the covid vaccines aren’t all that safe. So no, I didn’t trust the covid shot, especially because it was extremely forced. I think everyone can agree that the majority of people heavily encouraging us to get that were untrustworthy

And like I said before, research is for unique situations like allergies to ingredients and whatnot

If you’re referring to the recent FDA memo about 10 children dying of myocarditis, here is a really good article: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/fda-covid-vaccine-child-deaths-b2878027.html (Title: FDA claims Covid vaccines caused child deaths. Here’s the truth)

I’ll definitely read that, but no I wasn’t referring to that. I was referring to healthy people and athletes who received the shot and then proceeded to have heart attacks or blood clots without pre-existing conditions. Genuinely don’t wanna argue, I just want to make sure I understand everything

Basically the deaths weren’t verified to be caused by the vaccine. The VAERS system allows anyone to report their vaccine side effects, and serious incidences or patterns are investigated by epidemiologists. It seems like they already looked into it and could not find a causal link. The current admin seems to be very politically motivated in my opinion when it comes to vaccines, because unfortunately vaccines have been politicized in this country

The thing about medicine is you have to weigh the costs and the benefits. It’s pretty well supported that the side effects of the vaccine and of the disease are very similar in type, but the severity and duration is much worse for the disease itself. So if a young male athlete gets covid itself, he is much more likely to get myocarditis and in a more severe form than from the vaccine

I follow the logic. But that’s a serious false equivalence. One increases your chance of survival and the other decreases it exponentially.
