The democrats problem is I don’t think they know what they want to be, so they end up being nothing. They can’t decide if they want to be leftists like AOC and Zohran, alienating the libs, or if they want to alienate the lefties. Now nobody wants them
Card holding democrats have got to get it together. Personally I despise trump, he brings out the worst of our country, but dems don’t seem to get why they fail. There is no clear message, no credible people to rally behind, (continued in comments)

The worst part is that far right have the opposite problem They don’t care if stuff is “ideologically pure” as long as it moves you to the right

Oh they know what they want to be. They want to be able to benefit from corporate shareholders without doing so much that they lose their support. They promote whatever they think will win and care very little about what their voters actually want. They’ve tried pushing out folks like Mandani and AOC because it threatens the established order

Well, a few of them do, but they are ineffective and get laughed at

The right currently has it easy. Pledge fealty to the god emperor and you’ll be just fine

Ye I mean Donald Trump is the Republican Party I think you’re stupid if you say “oh not really republicans are beyond it”- Trump shut down a bipartisan spending bill because he didn’t like it, and obviously everyone listened to him
