I swear the entire conservative ethos is just hating their mom for all the stuff she made them do as children, including getting their shots.

90% of the time I see conservatives celebrating can be summed up by “whoopee guys we got rid of something actually good and useful today 😀”

Every new Department of War policy is like those kids’ t-shirts from the 2000s that are like “I want video game, pizza, and NO LITTLE SISTER” lmao

Something tells me the revolutionary army couldn’t run out to the drug store and pick up a DayQuil or prescription.

I fear DayQuil and prescriptions do not in fact help with viral infections, so something tells me even the revolutionary army could run out to the drug store, it would have done jack shit

DayQuil does help with the symptoms of viral infections, and there are antiviral medications, but neither are as effective as vaccination. TamiFlu does in fact treat influenza, just not as effectively as antibiotics work on something like strep, because viruses are different. But let’s not act like OTC and prescription drugs do not hold an important place in viral disease treatment lmao

Bro the Continental Army was inoculating people for smallpox, not the fucking common cold. DayQuil wouldn’t do shit for smallpox. Nobody’s gotten smallpox since like 1971 though. Wonder why that is. You got any idea why nobody’s gotten smallpox since the 1970s?

Yeah I was like “I mean DayQuil is a fever-reducer, and the fever is what kills people with the flu, and most viral infection deaths, so that’s pretty important to have, but it isn’t a cure”
