Gonna use Mamdani as an example just because tbh he’s the most obvious one and doesn’t have to work in Congress where shit gets held up forever - rent freeze - lower crime - universal pre-k - massive increase in tenant rights - repaired thousands of potholes too as a nice bonus

I think saying “well what has a DSA candidate done” is a little bit of an unfair question at the present moment. Not because I don’t think it isn’t a valid one to ask, but because A) we are talking about candidates here, not elected officials who have much more sway and B) there really haven’t been enough in Congress or other offices to get a wide range of people to choose from. DSA needs some weight to be able to throw around, and right now that is what they’re trying to gain

Lower crime, and universal pre-k were already things. Repairing pot-holes is nice but the center left dem governor of my state also does that (to the point people complain about the amount of construction)
