Definitely not too many exaggerations about Russia, NK, or Iran, but I don’t think things are as bad in China as we’ve been led to believe

Think about sourcing: People willing to tell the truth of those regimes may have a bone to pick. Or they’re scared enough of reprisals that they withhold key info.

Even being 50% accurate about the reality on the ground in those countries is a Herculean task. And that doesn’t even get into the challenges of translation from the difficult languages in those countries.

I think there are a shit ton of exaggerations about NK, possibly more than all the others
