Yeah that’s exactly what I was getting at, they’ve been known to deflate casualty numbers by hiding the deaths for a bit and then saying they died in an accident of some sort down the line.

I mean it proves both, modern fighter aircraft are supposed to be able to detect and evade incoming missiles. But yeah doesn’t help that Pete was probably too drunk to remember to let the Kuwaiti Air Force know what our plans were
