I mean I won’t lie it does kinda look like bait cuz it sounds outrageous at first but think about it; the people living here whether citizens or not have the right to have a say in who’s governing them because they are subject to the laws of the US while residing here

Fair, at least be able to file taxes tho. You can still say you’re jobless and that’s why you can’t pay taxes

not to mention how many immigrants preemptively pay US taxes bc it’s a common belief that it “looks better” on a citizenship application/during the naturalization process.
