Nah ppl can keep their houses they live in. We have more open unused units than homeless people. It’s a distribution problem

That’s the first option. If they don’t comply with it they get all their shit seized and capital punishment anyways. It’s about sending a message.

But isn’t capital punishment pretty severe? If we’re punishing landlord’s and companies for indirect deaths as murder, why aren’t we also punishing the politicians who put the laws in place that allow for it, or the office workers who work with the landlord/company to identify and set those prices? What about the municipal workers responsible for enforcing and creating regulations that require investment and thus higher prices?

Basically where do you draw the line? Once you start punishing people for the consequences directly removed from their actions, I feel like it becomes really hard to know where to stop

I agree to an extent, manufacturing drugs like meth, fentanyl, heroin, etc. For distribution should carry such a penalty. Other things like weed, most psychedelics (minus things like BromoDragonFLY and NBomEs) should carry lighter sentences
