No it ain’t twin 😭✌️just because it follows the myth that Anastasia survived being murdered by the bolsheviks does not mean it’s anti-communist. Plus, let’s not pretend that the USSR wasn’t just a dictatorship with a thin guise of “communism”, let’s think critically here.

Romanticizing the evil and corrupt Romanovs who lived in excess and luxury while their people starve is literally anti communist propaganda twin. Its inaccurate depiction of post imperial ussr is anti communist propaganda twin The ussr was a dictatorship of the proletariat. If anything, it’s less anti-communist and more anti-Soviet. Two very, very different things. Really, the biggest transgressions of it is how much it sanitizes the deaths of the Romanovs, poorly portrays Rasputin, and relies heavily on caricatures of Russian society. At the end of the day, it’s a fairy tale, historically inaccurate as all get out, and anti-Soviet in nature.

From starving under the Romanovs to starving under the party 😭✌️All it took to collapse was one visit to an HEB and Pizza Hut to have Russia go all in on capitalistic totalitarianism as opposed to Soviet totalitarianism.

This visit is what killed Bolshevism is Yeltsin. He said that if the Russian people saw the abundance in the average American store that they would revolt. That “Even the politburo doesn’t have this choice. Not even Mr. Gorbachev.” Really, following the restructuring reforms of Gorbachev’s, the USSR was cooked. And then they somehow ended up with more totalitarianism. It’s really unfortunate for the average Russian :(
