My mom, who’s normally very reasonable, read something online when it first came out and refused to get me vaccinated so I had to handle it myself as an adult and I’m still a bit upset with her about it even if there was no harm done

People should be able to do what they want with, and say what they want about vaccines. The state should also hold the right to not allow unvaccinated people into public spaces (schools, airports, libraries, etc.) Americans have a right to bodily autonomy and free speech, that right does not grant them unfiltered access to public spaces. Preventable disease is an unfortunate consequence of parental choice, but that alone doesn’t justify taking that choice away.
