Everything post-WW2 was unjustified, except MAYBE Kosovo and that’s very questionable

Also the Barbary wars. Hard to justify slaving piracy

Killing civilians is of course unjustified, but the U.S. was literally attacked first lmfao

You do know you said *entering* a war right. Civilians having been bombed doesn’t mean the war itself wasn’t unjustified.

Not by reducing Dresden to rubble

This is still a critique on the methods and undertaken rather than whether or not the war itself was justifiable?

It got Serbia to stop genociding Bosnians. So I’d call that justified.

True but it also killed thousands of Yugoslav civilians. Ugh. Idk maybe you’re right bc we did far worse in ww2

War is a crime. But hey, sending in the Marines and stopping the atrocities feels like a better way forward than the sum total of every military action in the 21st century.

The revolutionary war was an opportunistic rebellion over nonsense. World war nah we were competing with the japanese for influence in the pacific. We challenged them by placing the pacific fleet in Hawaii which was then just a remote possession. We didnt know the evil shit that hitler and the Nazis were up to until the camps were discovered.

I mean yeah the bombing of Dresden was terrible, but it has nothing to do with our decision to join the war
