The Civil Rights Act was great but LBJ was a pretty terrible person, he was personally very racist and had close ties with the mafia, personally I think it’s reasonable to the he might have been implicated in JFKs assasination.

Check the source, as for the mafia he had several cases throughout his career of dealings with mafia including accepting bribes and ties with the Dallas Mafia.
