Because we live in a society in which it is financial suicide to have children. Most places don’t offer maternity leave (paid nor unpaid), the average wage is $65000/year and that is unlivable for a household income, we have the worst education funding for a 1st world country. Until we cultivate a pro-life society, no one’s having kids

Ok, I’ll rephrase. Killing a human in a way that is willful, deliberate, and premeditated is first degree murder. A fetus is a human. Abortion is willful, deliberate, and premeditated. Abortion kills a fetus. Therefore, abortion is first degree murder.

In all seriousness this argument doesn’t work. You’re assuming a fetus is morally and legally equivalent to a born human person, and also “first degree murder” is just a legal term, not a moral term. This matters cuz there are places where abortion is legal and thus not first degree murder regardless of your opinion. Also, being biologically human doesn’t really matter cuz again the equation is of personhood. You can’t equate a fetus to a born child and to a born adult because they’re different
