The “war on Christmas” is literally just the acknowledgment that there’s other holidays in the month of December. Like does it really hurt your feelings that I say “happy holidays” instead of “merry christmas and happy hanukkah and happy new year”

everything about christmas, from the red & green colors, to the use of nutmeg, to the gift giving and caroling, is ALL ROOTED IN PAGAN TRADITIONS. 😂

It really does. I’ve said happy holidays and had people get genuinely irritated, saying I’m trying to piss them off. Somehow they find including all holidays just in case they don’t celebrate Christmas to be incredibly offensive

Lmao fortunately I haven’t encountered any of these people but “trying to piss them off” is hilarious. Even among people who I know celebrate Christmas I still say happy holidays a lot just because everyone also celebrates New year’s eve/day a week later
