For the pro-life movement as a whole, this is true and it’s disgusting. I consider myself pro-life but don’t associate with the broader movement for that reason. I believe a fetus is a person deserving of protection. I also believe in accessibility of contraception, sex ed, and increasing fetal viability so we can find ways to *safely* end pregnancy early for women who want that.

If they were actually pro-life they’d invest in affordable healthcare, first-home loan options, affordable daycare, free school lunches, etc. They don’t give a shit about the kid the second it’s born unless they can have another chance to punish and traumatize the mother
