I saw that batman TAS episode too, but i’ve read things in my dreams. I like to believe that it’s more accurate to say that you can’t read things that you’ve never read before. For example, in Sphere (1998) all pages in “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” are blank after page 87, because thats how far the character had read in real life
