This has always been the true political position of “liberal democrats”or whatever who exclusively fall in line with the establishment. They are nothing more than another tool for the same economic system and would legitimately prefer to see fascism before any actual social/progressive policy, because it keeps them wealthy and feeling important. The real left *starts* at people like AOC, Bernie, and Mamdani, and they are fairly moderate
