If you think our system is fair you don’t know how it works lmao. It takes decades for many people to get citizenship, is prohibitively expensive for most, and we’ve been violating international asylum laws for years.

I think it seems clear to me that you don’t understand that we also barely let anyone in. It’s different in the sense that they don’t have cultural precedent for large scale immigration, but the fact that theie give are choosing xenophobia over population growth and a sustainable economy is the same
