Of all the places, ironic coming from a country that literally tried this and all it did was increase violence leading to literally 25+ years of unrest and violence. Without internment it’s likely The Troubles would’ve been far less of a thing given the radicalizing effect of imprisoning thousands of people without trial and on minimal to no evidence.
