I actually don’t give a fuck if you have a criminal record, I still think we should treat you like a human regardless of which side of a border you were born on

The American justice system was never intended to rehabilitate criminals. If a felon gets out and can’t get a job, what else are they supposed to do other than go back to the one thing that reliably makes money, which is crime. I also think it’s fucking absurd for citizens with felonies to lose their right to vote. As long as you’re paying taxes and 18+, you have a right to vote in this country.

I mostly agree but not everyone can be reformed. Trump for example should've been sent to a maximum security prison and the key thrown away.

He's objectively a criminal. For example, how many people convicted of 34 felonies avoid all consequences?
