Why is that bad? One country can have the second amendment, limited taxes, limited government, limited abortion and private healthcare. Another country can have very restrictive gun laws available abortions, and very easy access to immigration no matter where you’re from.

You think your life would be better if the country was economically and socially split in two? Imagine your relatives having to forcefully move, imagine the commerce that would shut down, imagine if there was any conflict, how would there not be? Who gets what land do liberals get all the cities and republicans get all the rural land. If that’s true is the Republican side now just an agrarian third world country? What happens when they don’t have blue states subsidizing them?

I don’t really care. I can argue the same thing about oil control farms manufacturing railways when it comes to the support the Republican states contribute to the entire nation. I truly don’t care about the outcome, whether both countries sustain economic hardships because they probably will, but if people are more divided and can actually work together to solve issues it’ll bounce back.

If it’s by states do all the educated people leave the republican states? How does that change the demographics would one country be majority female and other majority male? Who controls what rivers? If there’s another ideological divide do we split into more countries until the U.S. is nothing? Keep in mind we’re doing this instead of just voting Trump out of office.
