Even hotter take (although both of them weren’t the best candidates) I hope one day we can have an honest conversation about the treatment of both Kamala Harris & Nikki Haley. Both were far more qualified than Trump but somehow were ripped to shreds.

Dems biggest mistake was Biden running for reelection (should have had a primary) Republicans biggest mistake honestly was not endorsing Nikki Haley, because now MAGA is an even bigger cancer than before & possibly cost them the midterms

People always intentionally ignore scope. I never cared for Kamala or her policies even when she ran in 2020 but I voted for her in 2024 with zero regrets. The fact of the matter is your last sentence matters most. Qualified experience.

It's because they're both women. This country HISTORICALLY has hated smart educated women being in power because men see it as a threat to the patriarchy that suits them so well.
