It was only 62 years ago that the civil rights act passed, 23 years ago since the loopholes regarding “sodomy” was closed, and 11 years since the affirmation of non-heterosexual marriages by the state, and there’s still plenty of loopholes used by places that, till this day, never respected or upheld the implementation of the civil rights act
