I had to live in my aunts basement for 2 weeks bc my house’s power lines were destroyed 😭 It wasn’t like a cat 5 superstorm hurricane but it knocked over so many power lines and trees, I got lucky just needing to repair the power lines, some people I knew had their homes destroyed by fallen trees

Yeah I was in NY right near the city so we were kinda in the direct line of fire lolll Just thought of how gas prices are spiking and the straight is still closed, so I was like “hm I remember what happened the last time we ran out of gas” lol
