Umm no. Distracts must meet several criteria. Yes, one is that they must be reasonably shaped. But another is that they must be as equal as possible to the states popular vote. A more fair Nevada map would have two Vegas based districts and then one with some Vegas suburbs stretching up the California border to Carson City

Yes. You are correct. I misspoke and I’m sorry for that. That being said, the makeup of the congressional delegation should be representative of the state as a whole. Because that’s what politicians are supposed to do. And representing 25% of districts in a state where you got about 50% of the popular vote is not representative. Just admit that Nevada’s map is gerrymandered 😂

Magically the 2 Dem districts are D+26, and D+21 being packed when the republicans are spread out and cracked across the districts to get a good safe seat but also competitive seat spread.

Wisconsin just has terrible geography for democrats. Almost every dem in the state is in Madison and Milwaukee

There’s also a reason I’m skeptical they will even redraw after the Texas thing. If they do even this is anti democratic when your opponents are doing it and you don’t you are just giving up.

I personally advocate tho for instead of landed voting do it by % where if let’s say state voted 60% Dem but 40% Republican in a state with like 10 reps you’d send 6 Dems and 4 republicans who rank the highest kind of like Germanys parliament
