They cannot tell the difference between Muslims and Sikhs and to them all Muslims are terrorists. Sikh knives (Kirpans) are required for the defense of oneself and others and come from a time when Sikh people were being persecuted by the powerful leaders of other religions. It’s sort of similar to assault rifles in the US, except the Kirpans are actually there to protect people and defend freedom.

It wasn’t done with a kirpan, it was allegedly done with a larger knife that they weren’t allowed to bring into the stadium. Maybe read the article before commenting.

When's the last time a Sikh hurt someone with a Kirpan? You should educate yourself on what it actually is and what it symbolizes.
