Forget public schools or homeschooling, if I can help It, my children are going to shmancy private schools. They’re not going through what I went through for a second
“I’m not sending my kid to public school where he’ll be around kids who think they’re cats!” THE HOMESCHOOL KIDS ARE THE FURRIES.

Do you not know the true stereotypes about private/Catholic school kids being a lot worse and having more problems than public school kids

The private school I went to was more cliquey and I got into more fights than the public school I switched to in 9th grade. Because everyone knew each other since preschool, old drama built up. In public school I had a much better education and more opportunity to take advanced classes. It’s not some binary separation of good and bad schools.

I’m from a suburban Virginia town. Just under 100,000 people live in the school district, covered by 3 high schools. They are pretty good and well funded yes.

Lowkey mine was the opposite, I think most people were pretty friendly in my private school. But the girls were hella cliquey 😭 still have beef to this day

I don’t think I’ve ever seen nondenominational private school personally, maybe it’s a regional thing

Non-religious private schools, there everywhere down here. You being a yankee says a lot. I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m sure you’re assessing accurately for where you are, but down here there are well funded pub schools that suck, and poor private 1’s (religious or not) that are great

I’m in Wisconsin and at least around me I never have heard any problems about the quality of public school education and think it’s pretty good, if anything I do think we think Catholic school would be a worse education and is mostly chosen for the religious aspect
